Achilleas Petrou has been working as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) since August 2017. He received the Dipl. Eng. in Rural and Surveying Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2016, while at present attended as a scholar in the postgraduate programme “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” of the Department of Economics at the AUTh. He fulfilled his internship in the company Egnatia Odos S.A. at the department of road safety. From 2009 to 2010, he served his military service in Greece
His main research interest focuses mainly on the field of regarding traffic flow modeling, model calibration, road traffic management. He is also an author of announcements in national and international conferences.
