Myrovali Glykeria, Ph. D. and M.Sc. Transport Engineer, Dipl. Civil Engineer, works as a Research Associate of Hellenic Institute of Transport from March 2010. She graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), the Faculty of Engineering (Department of Civil Engineer) and she acquired MSc diploma in Transport ("Design, Organisation and Management of systems of means of transport") from the AUTh. She holds a PhD degree in traffic data analysis (urban road traffic dynamics). She has participated in a series of transport related projects (national, territorial and European) Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Thessaly. Among main fields of expertise are Demand Management, Data analysis, Public Transport Systems enhancement, awareness raising on Road Safety, Citizens’ and stakeholders engagement (advanced marketing techniques in transport sector, crowd-sourcing and interactive learning initiatives) and Policies on Sustainable Urban Mobility (active scientific staff of Sector B: Infrastructure, Networks, Mobility and Logistics). During the last years, among her interests is Sustainable Tourism & Mobility Hand by Hand Development (Head of Laboratory D2: Technologies and Tools for Touristic Development).
