Dr. Kallirroi Porfyri works as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) since September 2017. She received the Diploma Degree in Production Engineering and Management and the M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Systems from the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece, in October of 2010 and in November 2012, respectively. In 2013-2019 she conducted her PhD research at the same university with dissertation title “Macroscopic Traffic flow modelling in the Presence of Vehicle Automation and Communication Systems”.
Her main research interests are focused on traffic flow theory, model calibration, road traffic management, microscopic traffic simulation, macroscopic traffic simulation, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), as well as on connected and automated driving (CAD).
