Kallirroi Porfyri was born in Athens, Greece, in 1987 and is working as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) since September 2017.
She received the Diploma degree in Production Engineering and Management and the M.Sc. degree in Manufacturing Systems from the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece, in October of 2010 and in November 2012, respectively. From March of 2013, she is also a Ph.D. candidate at the same university with dissertation title “Traffic flow modelling in the Presence of Vehicle Automation and Communication Systems”.
From 2012 to 2017, she was a research assistant at the Dynamic Systems and Simulation Laboratory (DSSL), Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece, where she worked on several research projects regarding traffic flow modeling, model calibration, road traffic management as well as intelligent transportation systems. She has several publications in International Conferences and scientific journals.
