Sofoklis Dais has been working as a research associate for HIT/CERTH since August 2018 with a major professional and research interest in the development of innovation and entrepreneurship in the sectors of logistics, and green and smart mobility. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki, Greece) and a Master’s degree in Logistics and Innovation Management from the University of Gävle, (Gävle, Sweden).
Through his employment in national and European programs, he has gained experience in the developing, managing and evaluating services that aim at enhancing the entrepreneurship of small and medium-sized mobility businesses and their interconnection with local and transnational triple-helix stakeholders (large enterprises, academia and public authorities). As part of his participation in Research Laboratory B4: Freight transport and logistics, his responsibilities include the management and technical development of EU programs related to the digital integration of Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) at the level of information exchange and use of services.
