Andreas Nikiforiadis has graduated from the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in 2015 and in 2017 he acquired the MSc on Design, Organization and Management of Transportation Systems from the same University. He has been working at the Hellenic Institute of Transport as a PhD-Postgraduate Fellow since March 2018, having participated in research projects and studies in the field of transportation. At the same time, he is a PhD candidate in the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and he is the author of more than 20 scientific papers, which have been published / presented in scientific journals, conferences and book chapters. He also holds a diploma on Statistics with R Specialization, offered online by Duke University. His research interests include sustainable urban mobility, travel behavior analysis, and the development of statistical and econometric models. He speaks fluently English.
