
Maria Strotou was born in Amfiklia, Phthiotis in 1993, holds a graduated diploma from the Department of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th. 2015) and in 2017 she acquired the MSc in “Complex Systems and Networks” of Department of Mathematics of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). From September 2021, she is a postgraduate student in Data and Web Science at the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).
Her research interests, among others, include Data Collection and Analysis, Big Data Technologies, working programmatically for data processing/ analysis, and the use of data visualization tools.
Since November 2019, she works as a Research Associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Her main responsibilities are the use of data visualization tools to support the development and the operation of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) and Services and the creation of python programs for data processing, cleaning, and mining.
