Dr. Vasileios Psonis received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) in 2010. His dissertation was a study on the effect of information entropy and complexity in various nuclear systems. In 2005, he received his M.Sc. degree in Computational Physics and in 2003 his B.Sc. degree in Physics from the same department. During his graduate studies, he worked as an adjunct lecturer, teaching Programming and Physics for 6 years in the International Hellenic University (former Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki). Over the last 10 years, he participated in numerous research projects revolving around Computational Physics and Astrophysics and worked as an adjunct lecturer teaching Quantum Mechanics in A.U.Th. He joined the Hellenic Institute of Transport in 2018 and has been working as a postdoctoral researcher on various C-ITS projects like Crocodile 2, C-MobILE, C-Roads and FENIX.
