Katerina-Panagiota Chranta was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She graduated from the School of Spatial Planning and Development, Faculty of Engineering, of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) in 2020. In the same year she started her Master's degree at the Interdepartmental Programme of Postgraduate Studies "Project Management, Transport and Spatial Planning" of the University of Thessaly.
Since November 2020 he has been working as a research associate at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Her research focus is on sustainable urban mobility plans (SUMP) and website content management.
She speaks English fluently and has a good knowledge of French and basic knowledge of Spanish. She has also been involved in programming and statistical data analysis.
