HIT AT WORKSHOP WITH THE HELLENIC ARMY GENERAL STAFF

GOOD PRACTICES FOR BUSINESS DESIGN 

Speech by the Director of HIT Dr. Evangelos Bekiaris

HIT / CERTH (the Hellenic Institute of Transport), the main Greek research organization in the transport sector and the most important and most recognized pan-European organization - participated, at the invitation of the General Staff of the Army, in a Workshop on "Business Planning", which took place on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the military camp "PAPAGOU".

The workshop aimed to present the military design method, the methodology used by non-army bodies and organizations, and to highlight the "best practices" in them, as well as how to translate a leading vision into practice.

The Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Alkiviadis Stefanis, announced the complicity of the conference.

Speakers were Colonel Themistocles Nikoglou, who referred to the "Operational Plan for the Implementation of NRDC-GR Headquarters" R, Konstantinos Giannopoulos, Chairman of the Board of Directors, "Smile of the Child", which was the topic of his speech, the Brigadier general Mr. Demetrios Stergiou - Kapsalis, Mayor of Penteli on "The Implementation of the Military Way of Administration in the Greater Public Sector" and the Director of ΗΙΤ, Dr. Evangelos Bekiaris. The topic of Dr. Bekiaris' speech was "Design and Implementation of a Strategic Research Development Plan, with the Active Participation of All Workers". The implementation of HIT's Strategic Development Plan was selected by the HELLENIC ARMY GENERAL STAFF as an optimal implementation from which to draw on and exploit the relevant implementation plans of their Strategic Plans.

The Hellenic Armed Forces organized the Workshop in the framework of the continuous effort to educate and train its human resources, considering that the personnel of the Armed Forces is our "most precious weapon system".
