Project Title: Ecosystem infrastructure for smart and personalised inclusion and PROSPERITY for all stakeholders
Duration: 48 months (01/02/2014- 28/02/2018)
Description: Prosperity4All (http://www.prosperity4all.eu/) was a 4-year project aiming to create an infrastructure that would make it easier and less expensive for diverse companies, organizations and people to create and support solutions (both assistive technologies/services and mainstream features) for people facing literacy (incl. digital literacy), disabilities or age-related barriers to the use of digital products and our digital future. Prosperity4all became a part of an integrated and global effort to create a Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure (GPII.net). This infrastructure was a paradigm shift in e-Inclusion through one-size-fits-one digitally inclusive solutions.
Objectives: The primary objectives were to increase the:
- percentage of research that makes it into the hands of users;
- number of different types of researchers (especially researchers focusing on basic science areas) to contribute and enable breakthrough solutions;
- number and variety of individuals and skills which can be brought to bear on the problem; and broaden the development process out towards users so that users and those living with them, or working with them, can get more directly engaged in the development of solution for them (selves).
HIT key role and responsibilities: HIT is Sub-project (SP) Leader.
