Project Title: Neighbourhood Oriented Brokerage ELectricity and monitoring system
Duration: 35 months (01/02/2010— 31/12/2012)

Description & Objectives: The NOBEL project builds an energy brokerage system with which individual energy consumers can communicate their energy needs directly with both large-scale and small-scale energy producers, thereby making energy use more efficient. Within it HIT develops the intelligent agents to perform the brokerage and connects electric vehicles to the network, both as consumers and small energy producers (called “prosumers”).

HIT key role and responsibilities: HIT is Partner in NOBEL project.
