Project title: Road safety community awareness programme for Elementary and High School students, under the sponsorship of Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP A.G.)
Duration: 10 months (25/04/2016 – 06/02/2017)

The road safety programme was conducted in two phases. The visits included the implementation of a 2-hour seminar per class in each school by highly trained transportation engineers and expert educators, with the use of specialized training material (educational handbooks, activity books and e-learning tools), which varied according to the target age group.
Concerning the elementary schools the following educational units were covered:
- Acquaintance with the vehicles and especially the heavy ones
- Fundamental safety rules for walking
- Acquaintance with basic traffic signaling
- Safety rules for cycling
- Travelling with safety within vehicles and means of public transport
