Description:CERTH/HIT develops a digital tourism promotion platform for the city of Thessaloniki with an ultimate goal to boost sustainable tourism via sustainable mobility. The platform offers tourism related information, sustainable transport modes routing to city’s points of interest and proposes walking and cycling paths for discovering the city.
Platform development is part of the "ThessPass" pilot action ("Testing of a common digital platform for the top tourist attractions of Thessaloniki and important points of interest, promotion of low carbon emissions, sustainable and active mobility, accessibility and responsible travel") designed in the framework of Interreg Europe project DESTI-SMART Interreg Europe, having as Greek project partner, the Major Development Agency Thessaloniki (MDAT S.A.).
